Judy Chong is an Emmy-winning marketing leader with more than 20 years building and reinventing brands, and reinvigorating legacy brands. Her experience in healthcare lies at the intersection of pharmacy, retail health on the front lines of care delivery, and digital technologies that enables transformation. Judy is a story teller at heart who is part strategist and part “boots on the ground,” and knows how to develop disciplined real-world strategies that can effectively drive ROI.
At Life Image, she is responsible for reimagining the company brand and its marketing program as the company evolves from a point-to-point image exchange for hospitals into a global system for sharing clinical information including patients’ medical images and information. Judy leads all marketing efforts to deepen brand preference in core provider markets while building brand awareness in new market sectors with health plans, life sciences, and telehealth.
Judy previously worked at CVS Health where she developed the company’s first multi-disciplinary public affairs engagement plan to “influence the influencers” in order to enhance its brand, reputation and thought leadership in health care to strategically position the company prior to its landmark decision to stop selling tobacco and rebrand to CVS Health. Her background also includes leadership roles to reinvent the brand for the state economic development agency for Rhode Island and reintroducing the Osco pharmacy brand by connecting pharmacy to nutrition wellness. At the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, the Knowledge District promotional campaign won an Emmy in 2012 in the New England Commercial category.
Judy received her undergraduate degree from Boston College in communications and political science. She received her Masters of Business
Administration from the University of Rhode Island where she graduated suma cum laude.
