5 Reasons to Come Meet the New Life Image at RSNA 2018

We are heading to radiology’s premier event, RSNA 2018, taking place November 25-29, to bring the most engaging, educational experience to the shows attendees. Since our official relaunch in October, we have been looking forward to this event as it gives us an opportunity to officially re-introduce our clients, partners, and peers to the new Life Image. If you are attending RSNA, below are the top five reasons you must put Life Image (booth #1553) on your ‘must see’ list:

1. Experience our new Interoperability Suite

Released in October, our new Interoperability Suite brings all of Life Image’s applications together under one unified solution. The powerful set of vendor-neutral solutions helps providers orchestrate the flow of a patient’s clinical information, including medical images, across all care delivery settings. With the Interoperability Suite, healthcare organizations have the ability to tap into the power of Life Image’s extensive global network of leading healthcare organizations for a variety of use cases. The platform supports interoperability through standards-based connectivity to a wide range of data assets—such as claims, EHR, and imaging data—and adheres to the latest interoperability standards and profiles, including FHIR and DICOM. RSNA attendees will have the opportunity to receive a demo of the new platform at the Life Image booth throughout the duration of the conference.

2. Meet our new partners

RSNA will be the first opportunity to talk to executives from our new partners, technology leaders and Dicom Systems, about our transformative collaborations.

There is tremendous opportunity for artificial intelligence (AI) to turbocharge the clinical trial process. With our partnership with Mendel, we can dramatically improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs in site selection and patient cohort identification.

Our new engagement with Dicom Systems, a leader in enterprise imaging operability and workflows, allows us to unify image sharing in healthcare. As we are both committed to using standards-based exchanges, image sharing will become an easier, more seamless process across a patient’s journey.

3. Learn about the future of women’s breast health

Hosted by Health Management Technology and Healthcare Informatics EVP Kristine Russell, we are sponsoring an educational lunch-and-learn session that will explore the future of women’s breast health with respect to technology, research, population health, and patient experience. Expert panelists, including clinical, academic, and technology experts from the Division of Breast Imaging at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and the University of California San Francisco, will discuss the current state of breast health research, best practices, and the latest advancements in breast health technology on Tuesday, November 27 at 12:30 PM CT in room S404AB. Please sign up in advance for your boxed lunch.

4. Discover practical use cases for imaging AI

This informative lunch-and-learn session will be moderated by Chilmark Research analyst Brian Edwards and feature a panel of clinical and technology experts from Google,, Beth Israel Deaconess and Harvard Medical School. Panelists will discuss how stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem are working together to bring novel capabilities to the industry to improve diagnostics, clinical trial productivity, comparative effectiveness, and clinical decision support. If you’re attending RSNA, you can catch this panel on November 28 at 12:30 PM CT in room S404AB. Please sign up in advance for your boxed lunch.

5. Get to know the Life Image/Google Cloud partnership

Through our partnership with Google Cloud, announced last November, we are close partners with the mission of bringing novel opportunities to care networks, and accelerating understanding and clinical utility of evidence across a network of providers, medical imaging providers, researchers, and most importantly, patients.

RSNA is the perfect opportunity to learn about how our partnership with Google is evolving. Life Image CTO, Janak Joshi, will be demonstrating these capabilities at the Google booth (#7161) on November 26 at 10:30 AM CT, and at the Corporate Symposium Medical Imaging: The Path Forward: Presented by Google Cloud. The symposium takes place on Tuesday November 27 at 9:00 AM CT at the South Hall, Level 1, Room S105D.
