RSNA 2009 put image sharing on center stage. Here at lifeIMAGE, we are excited about this focus on sharing patient information across healthcare enterprises. On January 26 at 2pm ET, lifeIMAGE hosted a web discussion on cross-provider medical image sharing. Our featured speaker was Dr. Keith J. Dreyer, Vice Chairman of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, who shared insights on the key drivers for image sharing, the problems caused by CD/DVD media, impending and possible standards and the role of cloud technology. He was joined by Hamid Tabatabaie, President and CEO of lifeIMAGE, who will shared our vision for image sharing and provided a brief product demonstration. The last twenty minutes of the session was a lively audience Q&A.
