lifeIMAGE and Sorna Integrate Image Sharing Technology
Integrated product offering will be introduced at RSNA 2009
BOSTON, MA and EAGAN, MN (November 27, 2009) – lifeIMAGE and Sorna Corporation today
announced the formation of a strategic partnership to deliver an integrated platform for sharing diagnostic imaging information across healthcare systems.
Under the terms of this partnership, lifeIMAGE has adopted Reviewer TM, Sorna’s ubiquitous diagnostic image viewer, to offer more advanced functionality to the users of its lifeIMAGE Local Appliance (lila)TM, used for management of incoming patient CDs.
Sorna has also adopted lila, and lifeIMAGE’s cloud-based Inbox, for providing an alternative to customers who will increasingly seek an electronic means for sharing diagnostic imaging results with patients or outside physicians and healthcare institutions.
