Hamid Tabatabaie
Founder, President, & CEO
Hamid is a veteran of the healthcare information technology industry. His 27-year HIT experience includes responsibilities as CEO and executive roles in sales, marketing, operations, strategic planning and business development.
Most recently, he was CEO of AMICAS, a web-based PACS company. During his tenure, 1999 – 2005, AMICAS experienced significant growth in revenues, size, diversity of its client base and strategic business partnerships. Prior to his departure, AMICAS had achieved annual sales of $50 M and enjoyed a customer base of over 600 hospitals and imaging centers in the U.S. Hamid has been the founder and CEO of two other HIT start-up companies with successful results. His passion is to develop strategic systems to help healthcare providers deliver higher quality care and drastically improving efficiency.

Amy Vreeland
Founder & SVP of Product Management
Amy, a lifeIMAGE co-founder, guides the design of the lifeIMAGE service and ensures all aspects of the product meet workflow and usability standards.
Before lifeIMAGE, Amy was responsible for all AMICAS installation, support, and training resources and helped the company to receive the industry’s prestigious ‘Best in KLAS’ distinction three consecutive years. She has been an early member of three successful healthcare information technology start-ups and was an early employee at MEDITECH, a global leader in the health care information systems industry.
Michael Baglio
CTO & SVP of Engineering
Michael oversees the complete lifeIMAGE engineering and QA teams and is responsible for the delivery of lifeIMAGE’s product suite.
He brings a successful track record of developing solutions for a wide range of fortune 500 companies including GE, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Fidelity, Verizon, Cisco, Delta, and Sprint. He was also an early employee (pre-IPO) of Silknet, Inc of Manchester, NH where he was the Global Practices Solutions Architect. Shortly after Silknet was acquired by Kana Communications for $4.2 Billion, Michael left to start a consulting services company which he sold in 2007. Before joining lifeIMAGE he served as the Solutions Architect on Massachusetts Medicaid’s NewMMIS project, the largest IT initiative implemented by the state to date.
Brian Cahill
Chief Operating Officer
Brian is responsible for the day-to-day operations of lifeIMAGE.
He has more than twenty years experience leading healthcare information technology companies. From 2001 to 2008 he was the CEO of ChartOne, a provider of outsourced services to hospital Health Information Management departments. He led ChartOne through a significant turnaround and eventual sale to HealthPort. During his tenure it launched a SaaS based EMR division called eWebHealth, which operated as a standalone business following the sale, until its acquisition by Hyland Software in 2010. Prior to ChartOne Brian served as both COO and CFO of HPR, a claims editing and physician profiling software company for the payer community. While he was CFO the company completed its IPO and was later purchased by HBOC. He is currently on the board of directors for Cumberland Consulting Group, a Best in KLAS healthcare technology implementation and project management firm. He joins lifeIMAGE after serving as an operating executive for the private equity firm Tailwind Capital.

Grady Gerade
Founder & VP of Research/Enterprise Solutions
Grady, a lifeIMAGE co-founder and inventor of the lifeIMAGE Flash Viewer, is responsible for developing next generation technologies and applications, as well as the visualization components of the lifeIMAGE network. He leads a team of developers that are pushing the boundaries of web and tablet applications in the market.
Before lifeIMAGE he managed and led the development of advanced visualization for Merge Healthcare’s PACS (formerly eMed Matrix). Grady was also a lead developer on the DIMPL line of medical imaging toolkits from DOME Imaging Systems.
